Super Weekend

We had a 3 day weekend!  We went to Tuula's European Bakery. :D Mine was the Raspberry Tart.

We stopped at Clifton Mill on the way, and saw a fake owl on top of the sign. :D

We come here every year.  It's a nice little restaurant.

Ice Cream was needed.  I had Cookie Dough i think...

And afterwards we went bowling.  I got a strike!

On Sunday, we went to see the Bison, at a park.  This sign was funny.

CATERPILLARS!  This guy is Steve.  Steve had over 20 other brothers.  And most of them we picture subjects.

Halloween

It's Halloween! We have a lot of scary stuff out in our yard!

This guy has been with us for a long time.  This is a picture from when I was 7.

The only thing scarier than Halloween is snow on Halloween.

Thinking Mother Nature forgot about the whole... Wait until after Fall for snow...

Best Time Ever!

I ran my best time!  14:38.5 :D It's a good way to end the season.  Soccer is over to.  I made ONE goal.  Hopefully i get more next soccer season.

WE WENT APPLE PICKING!

And naturally we ate most of the apples we saw.

It was fun.  It's disappointing how all the bags fill up so quickly.  We wanted to stay!

The apples we picked were bigger than the ones at the store!  We also made some things with the apples; Applesauce, French Apple Cake, Apple Skillet Bake, Maple Apple Bread, And we also just ate them.  My favorite is the Apple Skillet Bake with Ice Cream. :) Loads of brown sugar, Butter, and Cinnamon...

Dublin Squid....Sightings

There has recently been talk of sightings in and around Dublin of... a Squid!

I have found this interesting, and I managed to get a picture of the Squid a couple days ago.  However the people working with the sightings, and proving this to be either real or fake, claimed that "It has to many branches, not a clear photo."  I think the photo is fine, but it isn't my job to say so.

I personally decided to find this Squid and capture it.  I will show them that this mystery is real and will be solved.

Lots of News

I had a cross country meet, and I broke 15 minutes!  My new best time is 14:54!  I was 26th place, 5th for Junior Varsity team.

We went *again* to The Crew Soccer Game!  Sadly they lost 0-1...

We got Breast Cancer Awareness hats, and everything was pink.

Number 11, Dominic Oduro, is known to do something different with his hair each game.  This time it was pink.  :D

Last but not least...  My dog got a "hair cut"  So we tell the groomers NOT TO MAKE HER LOOK LIKE A POODLE. And yet... they don't listen.  Ever.

Power of the Pen, Goalie, Nuts and Candy!

I made it into Power of the Pen!  I am in the Top Eight in 7th grade!  To get in I had to write a story based on the word EMPTY in 40 minutes.
